Alternative to Roasting Veggies?
I have been on this kick of roasting veggies with olive oil and, as luck would have it, my oven started malfunctioning and I can’t use it anymore. Anybody know some stove-top prep methods that would produce similar results? I can’t get the oven fixed for 2 whole weeks!

…isn’t spit-roasting more like grilling/broiling than roasting? It’s not done in a closed oven, and as far as I can see, it’s exactly like grilling except that the food is on a spit rather than the bars of a grill.

You would think someone who’s 100% approving of his children burning forever for anyone who isn’t convinced by Christianity or doesn’t comfortably accept an innocent person being punished for their mistake wouldn’t so hard to figure out.

I forgot to add the sugar to my teriyaki marinade, and my meat is roasting in the oven, and almost done. HELP!
I tried the meat (Pork Loin) and it is salty but not so that one cannot eat it. But is there anything I can do, like add a sauce over it?

cook to an internal temperature to 155 or 158, then take it off heat because it will still cook for a little bit until it reaches 165. I find that if the internal temp goes above 165, it turns out fibery and tough. If it’s 160-165, it’s so very tender.
